I want give you a 0 but it’s not possible so I give you a 1. Had a great time was rly fun but the guys that work there were so rude. That charged us 36 bucks for 3 carts when we only wanted one and they wouldn’t let us only take one cart. They treated us like we knew nothing. we may not be the best at golf but we went to the shittiest course on purpose so we wouldn’t embarrass ourselves and they acted like we were idiots. One of them literally rode his little ranger cart over to us 3 times before we had even finished the 1st hole to tell us we had to keep up with the people in front of us, told us to switch holes, and made us rent another set of clubs. They thought because we were teenagers they could treat us like crap they literally only came up to us with many other groups there, singling us out.

I had a really bad experience at this golf course. I came out to play a round with a few friends, expecting a fun day, but the staff made us feel unwelcome from the start. Before we had even begun playing, employees approached us multiple times telling us we needed to keep up the pace. We completely understand the importance of pace of play, but we hadn’t even tee’d off yet. No one else on the course seemed to be getting the same treatment. We were the youngest group out there, and it definitely felt like we were being singled out because of our age. On top of that, the employees were rude and spoke to us as if we had no idea how to play golf we may not be the best but we still deserve the same treatment. Instead of treating us with basic respect, they came across as condescending and made the entire experience unenjoyable. Would not recommend .

I don’t even know where to start with how poorly this place is run. The course itself is whatever, but the real problem is management—they are completely disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly seem like they don’t care at all about customers. Trying to get any kind of help or clear answer from staff is a joke, and when you finally do, it feels like you’re being brushed off or treated like you’re the inconvenience. Scheduling is a mess, communication is nonexistent, and if something goes wrong, don’t expect anyone in charge to take responsibility. It’s pretty obvious there’s no real leadership here. Policies seem to change depending on who you talk to, and there’s zero consistency in how things are handled. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least a basic level of professionalism, but that’s definitely not what you get. Plenty of better-run courses out there—this one isn’t worth the headache.

Course is decent. The cart situation is atrocious. The GPS on there needs to be adjusted. It will stop your cart and tell you you’re driving in a restricted area when some of the times you will literally be on the cart path. $12.50 is a lot for a cart fee when you can’t drive them anywhere without having to put it in reverse to get where you need to go.

A absolute hidden gem. It had a fantastic practice area. The practice greens match the course. It’s by far the best municipal course in Grand Rapids for many reasons beyond its condition. The staff make you feel welcome, it’s not stuffy and you feel wanted unlike other courses that you feel like a burden. Their rates are great, they keep a good pace of play. I’ve been to a ton of courses in my day and this one takes the cake! Oh and the wildlife- Albino Robin on hole 17, also foxes and deer there to cheer you on!
